      • Mine wasn’t perfect coz I didn’t follow my aunt’s recipe but it wasn’t bad for a first time try. Next time I’ll try my aunt’s recipe coz she was a good baker when she was a lot younger…

      • I love to bake too..but too afraid with diabetes so usually I reduce the amount of sugar or just skip it..since I have familial history of diabetes, besides I notice a baker’s family tends to have diabetes..Even my inlaw get shock when doing blood glucose test for her family and everyone in the family have a high level blood glucose. They stop eating cakes and eat more vegetables..now their blood glucose back to normal. My inlaw is selling cakes, brownies etc and her cakes are very delicious😊

      • Actually before covid, I didn’t have any sugar at home! Lol… My dad’s side of family also has diabetes problem so my dad always reminded us with this fact so I was never one to like sweet things. Thanks to covid, I found that baking is so much fun! So I’ve been baking every Fridays since I’m off, trying new things. My blood test was normal last year but I should probably check it again this year. Lol… just to make sure everything is still good…

    • Agree baking is so much fun..I do start to bake again because of covid too😅..kids always at home so we need extra food and snacks🙃.. I’m gratefull they can tolerate my less sugar cakes and mufins 😇
