Sorry for taking looooooooooooonnnnnnnngggggggg break. I am currently busy with my study and work and could not find the time to continue translating the novel. I notice other translator has actually finished the translation. My question is do you still wait for me to finish? I cannot give you the date when will I finish the translation but if you are still waiting for my translation for Gu Yun and Su Ling, I will continue translating the novel with a veeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyyy slow pace (I am talking one-three month for a chapter). Please comment below to let me know what you are thinking.
P.S. Chapter 29 part 1 will be posted soon (Within a week or two). It might be the last chapter from me if the consensus decided to stop the translation.

Btw, Killer Ninja has finished the translation. you can check the site out. It is pretty much the same with my translation except I use my own grammar and diction to translate mine. 🙂

Well, you do such a nice job that I’m willing to wait for chapters. Unless the story goes really horrible, I’d say finish. Why don’t you say you’re taking a translators holiday and just take a break? You could just tease us along every so often with a particularly mysterious or romantic scene to keep us waiting for your return. I follow other translators that post very infrequently, it’s really not a hardship to wait.

Honestly, I am not confident about the translation. I just want to share it to the other readers and stop the harassing. Since a better and more accurate version is coming, I want the readers to follow your translation instead.

That is a called translator’s redemption. I am just glad she find her passion again. It is not easy to translate. Besides, looked what I end up doing… If you go to indexes, nothing has really changed

It is actually just a fan based translation. I do not own any of the copyright. So you really should not feel that you have to delete your translation. That is your hard work. If you feel obligated just because I was translating it before you, please don’t feel that way.

I really love your translations but I believe I’m in the minority this time. I’ve read to the conclusion of the novel translated by Killer Ninja. The other translator did a pretty good job so I would rather appreciate if the focus to be on Destined Marriage With Fragrance. But of course, it’s all up to you. You spend a lot of time translating so I’m quite worried. Haha. Thank you so much for your effort though Nutty. You’re awesome.

Thanks for asking, nutty. It would be sad if continuing to translate Generation of Military Counselor means at the expense of less time for Destined Marriage with Fragrance, but in the end, it is up to you. I would be more interested in DMWF since I already know the ending, but I would also be interested in seeing you finish Military Counselor translation. Killer Ninja did a nice job, but I still prefer your translation, it just feels more professional and sophisticated and I like reading it more.

It won’t come at the expense of destined marriage as it is Sian’s independent project. I have no say of it :). She is the person in charge of the translation.

I respect whatever decision you take but I would rather you spend your time translating something new. There is such a vast world of lovely novels out there Wen in ch News readers are completely unable to access!
